AI7_Top8 Performances

Ok, after Rami bid goodbye last week and sulking (a little), I've had enough motivation to watch the Top8 performances.. besides, this is Inspirational songs week so it's gotta 'move' us in one way or another...

My ranking

1. JASON Castro. Not just because I LoVe this guy but because of all the performances, his was quite moving yet simple... Rock on, Jason!

2. DAVID Archuleta. This kidd really got that somethin special within him, Randy's right (again), that was some performance.

3. MICHAEL Johns. I know both Randy and Simon didn't like it, they thought twas an imitation of Aerosmith, well, yeah, they maybe right but vocally and if we just base it on last night's performance, twas good actually...

4. KRISTY Lee Cook. I can't believe am saying this... From being bottom 3 veteran for quite a number of weeks, i think she literally shone last night, w/ her glittery gold blouse too, hehe

5. BROOKE White. I like her a LOT but the number she did was just a-OK, nothin special, unlike previous performances yet twas simple, sincere and vocally good.

6. DAVID Cook. Of course, we've seen the BEST of David and lookin back while seein his supposedly inspirational song, well, quite uninspiring :(

7. CARLY Smithson. I hate to agree with Simon but i have to. I love Queen and I've come to like Carly but I just hate everythin bout her 'angry' performance last night: her clothes, her song, the way she sang it... Last week's Dolly Parton song was waaay inspirational and soulful compared to this one...

8. YSESHA. In terms of dilemma, hers was the lack of connection, enough to send her home maybe...
